Getting started

Do I need an account to try it?
No. The demo on /demo runs the real engine on your own photographs without a signup and without a card. An account only matters once you want your history saved.
How many photos should I upload?
Between eight and fifteen for a full shoot. Fewer than five and the write-up gets thin; more than fifteen adds little because the story is usually already there.
Which file types work?
JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 6 MB each. Export from Lightroom at web size — full-resolution files only slow the upload down.
How long does a shoot story take?
Around thirty seconds for a typical gallery. You watch the frames light up as the engine reads them.

How the writing works

Does it actually look at my photographs?
Yes. Every package comes from a vision model reading the images you uploaded. Nothing is templated and nothing is pre-written — that is the whole point of the product.
What exactly do I get back?
An SEO blog post of roughly 600 to 900 words, a meta description, a URL slug, captions for Instagram feed, Instagram Story, Pinterest and Facebook, alt-text for every photo, and a short gallery introduction.
Will it sound like me?
It gets close, and it's meant to be edited. Add context — names, the venue, the tone you want — and the draft lands much nearer your voice. The last pass should always be yours.
Can it write in French?
Yes. Choose English or French per shoot; the whole package, including captions and alt-text, is written in that language rather than translated afterwards.
Will Google penalise me for it?
Not for a first-hand, accurate write-up of a shoot you actually did, edited by you. What gets penalised is mass-produced text about things you have no knowledge of.

Plans and billing

Is the free tier really free?
Two shoot stories every month, no card, no expiry, the same engine the paid plans use.
What happens when I hit the monthly limit?
Everything you've already written stays saved and readable. The count resets on the 1st, or you can move up a plan.
How do I upgrade?
Checkout isn't switched on yet, so upgrades happen by email — write to contact@framestory.digital and we'll set your plan up the same day. We won't show you a checkout screen that doesn't charge anything.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, then drop back to the free plan with your history intact.

Privacy and your photographs

What happens to my photographs?
They're sent to the model to be read, and the resulting text is stored against your account. We don't sell them, publish them or use them as marketing without asking you first.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Settings has a one-click delete for all your shoots and packages, and a separate option to delete the account itself.
Do my clients need to consent?
Your usual delivery agreement covers processing images to produce your own marketing copy. If you shoot under a strict confidentiality clause, keep those galleries out of the tool.
